Manetta Frain Manetta Frain, 75, 819 Russell, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, at St. John's Regional Health Center. She was born Manetta Pitts on Feb. 18, 1918, at Minneapolis and moved to Salina in 1989 from Culver. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of the home; a son, Jack of Salina; a daughter, Shirley Frederking of Salina; a sister, Venita Bartley of Bennington; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina, the Rev. William Brigden officiating. Private burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron, Salina, 67401. |
